Disclaimer
Verdorra is a free matching service that helps homeowners connect with landscape design-build pros. We also share general educational information, but we are not a landscaper, contractor, or design firm.
What Verdorra does
Verdorra helps you find a landscape pro for your yard project. We may ask for basic contact details and project details so we can match you with a pro who may be a fit for your needs.
We do not perform landscaping work. We do not design, install, build, repair, or supervise projects. We are not a substitute for advice from a licensed contractor, designer, engineer, arborist, plumber, electrician, attorney, or tax professional.
When we talk about a "design-build" pro, we mean a company that may both design a project and build it. That is their work, not ours.
General information only
Any articles, guides, checklists, examples, or other content on Verdorra are for general educational purposes only. They are not a promise that a project will work the same way in every yard.
Yards are different. Climate, soil, slope, drainage, access, local rules, plant choices, and season can all change what makes sense. Terms like grading, drainage, hardscape, softscape, and drip irrigation are explained on our site in plain language, but those explanations are still general information.
We do not provide engineering, drainage/grading, arborist, structural, legal, or financial advice. If your project may affect water flow, retaining walls, trees, utilities, property lines, or permits, ask a qualified local professional and check your city or county rules.
No guarantees
We do not guarantee that you will be matched with a specific pro, that a pro will accept your project, or that any design, budget, schedule, or result will be right for your home.
Any cost or timing information you see from us is only general guidance. It is not a quote. Real costs and timelines vary by yard size, materials, access, season, labor, and your local market.
We also do not guarantee plant survival, project performance, or that your project will be completed by a certain date.
Your responsibility before work starts
Before hiring anyone, verify the pro’s license and insurance yourself. Ask for proof, and make sure it is current for your state or local area.
Also check whether permits are needed and whether utility-locates are required before digging. Rules vary by region, and some projects need approvals even when they look simple.
Before any work begins, confirm the design, scope, materials, price, change orders, and schedule in writing. If something matters to you, get it written down. That helps avoid confusion later.
How our service works and fees
Using Verdorra is free for homeowners. We help you find a landscape pro, and participating pros pay a flat fee to use our service.
We do not tell you which pro is "best" for your project, and we do not control a pro’s pricing, licensing status, insurance coverage, permits, work methods, or business decisions. Your agreement is with the pro you choose, not with Verdorra.
If you move forward with a pro, read their own contract, warranty, and cancellation terms carefully. If you do not understand something, ask questions before you sign.
Messages, calls, and consent
If you give us your contact details, you agree that Verdorra may contact you about your request by phone, text, email, or other reasonable methods, including through service partners or pros connected to your project.
Message and data rates may apply from your phone carrier. You can opt out of marketing messages where available, and you can contact us if you need help understanding your options.
Please review our Privacy Policy and Terms for more detail about how we handle information and how the service works. If you have questions, use our Contact page.
